Carey, the founder of The Beach and Back, dreamed of creating a brand that resonates with beachgoers. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, design, production, and product development, she has overseen brands like Lonna & Lilly, Anne Klein, Nine West, DKNY, Givenchy, Judith Jack, Napier, and more and worked with national retail chains such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Dillard’s, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Bealls, Belk, Bon-Ton, and Target.

With a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Graphic Design from the University of Massachusetts, Carey combines her professional expertise with her personal passion for the beach.
